The last one. I peed myself.
So much funny here
When Marty is being judged at the band auditions at the beginning, the judge who stands up to say he is “just too darn loud” is Huey Lewis, whose songs, “The Power of Love” and “Back in Time” are featured on the movie’s soundtrack, and also wrote Marty’s audition song (which is a re-orchestrated version of “The Power of Love.”)
Back to the Future Part I (1985)
One of my favourite cameos ever
Has this been debunked as fake?
At first I was suspicious because the Procreate UI never changes in the video except during the beginning when he’s fooling with the color picker. But realized he probably just…
This bugs me. Turns out what was thought to be marvellous artwork is nothing more than a sham.
This was written by my friend Sulemaan Ahmed:
When you say the word “gentleman” what comes to mind?
Is it this ridiculous song and video by Psy?
Is it someone who attends a “club” that has “exotic dancers”?
Is it someone who spends an obnoxious amount of money on fine clothes and cars?
My view is that it is not.
My Gentleman’s Manifesto is as follows:
A gentleman looks good on the outside and the inside as well. Meaning those who don’t only care about themselves but others as well.
A gentleman opens door for others both literally and figuratively.
A gentleman listens attentively to those they are speaking to regardless if they are a Dragon like Brett Wilson or a Doorman verifying your ticket.
A gentleman cooks dinner for their spouse or partner after they had a long day at work (be it the office or home with kids). I’ll admit I need to work on this.
A gentleman is one who takes pride in not only how they look and dress but also how they conduct themselves with others.
A gentleman is one who treats women with dignity and respect.
A gentleman keeps their word when they give it.
A gentleman helps a fellow entrepreneur starting a business by offering them free tickets to bring clients when they barely have enough to keep the lights on.
A gentleman introduces people to each other before introducing themselves.
I may not be a gentleman yet but aspire to be one. Please join us at the event this weekend and be part of bringing of giving the word “Gentleman” it’s true meaning.
